In simple words the management consulting firms use case interviews to assess the problem solving, performing, analytical abilities, and other things of a candidate before hiring in their facility. The formats of the interviews are differed according to the facility’s needs and on the firm that you are interviewing with. 

By the way, there are various types of case interviews at this time according to facility needs but two types of formats are most popular and the facilities have to need mostly them. One of those candidate-led case interviews and the second is interviewer-led interviews. 

So, keep in mind that if you also have to face a case interview you may face one or both of these interviews. The interviews depend on your fields and the company’s requirements. They suggest that you are going to fit in that role or you have some essential improvements for that role.

These companies are very popular in this field of case interviews but it does not mean that these the only ones in this field. There are thousands of companies in this field that are using case interviews for hiring. The case interviews seem to be a way to search for talented and performing people. 

So, the select the right person according to the facility needs there are various types of case interviews designed. This is one of the right methods to filter the problem-solving skills in a candidate and to correlates with job performance. 

The firms always want to find the performing candidates that can take the facility to another stage so they spend more time and focus to find the performing people and who are passionate about their work mentally, physically, heartedly, and who have the essential and next-level skills. 

If you have to prepare for a case interview then never be panic. You will have to ensure that you have proper and essential information, mentality, and conduct to perform better in that facility. In this case the experience also essential but do not worry because if you have not proper experience even you can try for that. 

You will have to think that you have sufficient abilities and you be fit in that role or you will have to improve yourself.
