Is a Chemist and a Pharmacist the Same?

On the other hand, laboratory chemists use chemicals but don’t make them. They conduct tests on materials and substances so as to evaluate their quality or provide information about the best time to harvest crops.
Difference Between Pharmacist and Chemist?
Pharmacists are health care professionals who specialize in the safe use of medications. They may work as part of research teams on specific projects or in industrial or governmental laboratories. They may specialize in one chemical discipline, such as organic chemistry, biochemistry, physical chemistry, or analytical chemistry. Pharmaceutical chemists study the chemistry of drug structure and function.

The two professions are not always interchangeable. In some cases, pharmacists can do what chemists do but not vice versa because it requires different training to be qualified for each position.
