He has 17 million YouTube subscribers, and there are about 2.4 million people who visit his Facebook page every day. There’s also a significant number of people that like his Instagram page, including lots of celebrities with huge followings from all over the world, like Hulk Hogan and Rosie O’Donnell. It’s not only celebrities that have connections to Trump via Twitter– he’s got more than 1.4 million followers on Reddit, and over 6 million people who follow him on Instagram.

No, not the kind of war where you try to convince people that they’re wrong or they might be wrong– this is the kind of war where you actually get into it with other people in real life. In 2013, Trump went at it with Bette Midler on Twitter over the topic of Sarah Palin’s candidacy for Vice President. According to Vice , Midler thought that Palin was a “worthy successor” to President Barack Obama, and took issue with people who were praising her for being a potential Secretary of Defense — saying she was “a joke.” Trump replied to Midler and explained why he thought Obama would be an excellent choice as the next American leader.

People might not know whether or not Trump is actually serious about what he says on Twitter, but if you’re going to be on Twitter you might as well be a little satirical and have a good time. Trump once said publicly that he had fake people manufactured to serve as his own supporters during the 2016 election. This could have been a joke, but it’s also possible that he might not be joking at all. It could be exactly how much of his social media following was built, and if we’re being honest with ourselves, it wouldn’t be the most ridiculous thing we’ve heard in this election cycle.
