Moor Spa’s founder Michael Beresford first came across Moor therapy over 30 years ago while researching spa treatments in Europe. It has been a part of the European healing tradition for centuries, and over the past 60 years, many clinical studies have confirmed Moor’s beneficial properties.

One of the original goals at Moor Spa was to create a product line that would fulfill all the back bar and retail needs of a modern spa. Now that this has been achieved, Moor Spa is embarking upon setting up Moor Spa “concept spas” throughout North America, with the first such spa set to open in Hilton Head, South Carolina in October 2022.
At Moor Spa, we are passionate about product safety and purity as well as minimizing our ecological footprint. As a result, we are one of the first companies in our industry to convert to biodegradable packaging.
In 2020 Moor Spa partnered with UK-based Symphony Environmental to incorporate their d2w material into our packaging. This causes the plastic to fully biodegrade within two years after a product has been discarded, rather than up to 500 years for conventional plastic.
We have also partnered with One Tree Planted as part of our commitment to support organizations aligned with our vision. With each sale of some of our products, we have committed to planting one tree in North America.
