Most bobbleheads before were made from ceramic, they were delicate and hard to come by as artisans used to make everything by hand, one by one. But with the development of modern technology, bobbleheads are easier to purchase. Plastics and resins make it easier to mass-produce certain products for cheaper prices. Nowadays, most bobbleheads are made with plastics which makes them easier to customize according to the desire of the client.

I had so much fun playing with those bobbleheads that it brings nostalgic memories of childhood whenever I see one. As stated by Sheldon Cooper from the Big Bang Theory, it doesn’t matter what bobblehead it is, as long as it bobbles. That’s the best thing about the simplicity of the doll, it brings so much joy to people around it.
