For gourmets
We know that, in order to sow a little joy and good humor, it is essential that your package arrives in one piece. Opt for non-perishable products like protein bars or granola, nuts, crackers, spices, coffee or tea. Otherwise, a local treat or treat that your loved ones can’t get in their area will be their delight. If you are shipping homemade foods like baked goods, be sure to put them in an airtight container or a tightly sealed plastic bag before you put them in the shipping wooden boxes. If the container has air pockets, your items may shift, crumble and shatter.
Also avoid foods that have poor resistance to heat and other temperature variations, like chocolate and products that need to be refrigerated. If you are shipping food across borders, be sure to label it correctly. It is only permissible to ship food to the United States if it is sent from one person (not one company) to another. In addition, customs forms should clearly state that it is a gift and that the food is for personal consumption.
Customs authorities further require that you include the full list of ingredients they contain.
For people in quarantine
If your package is for a person confined to the home due to symptoms, possible infection, or recent travel, you might consider sending them some basic necessities such as soap, hand wipes, baby food. paper, toiletries, dry or canned foods, non-perishable foods, energy drinks, vitamins and other pantry items. Keep in mind that some items, such as hand sanitizer, may be banned due to transportation restrictions on alcohol products.
For Easter
It can be difficult to keep children entertained when we spend a lot of time at home, as many of us are now.
