Plastic trolleys are a big no-no for too hot or too cold surroundings. Metals and alloys can be used depending upon their reactivity.

It is very important to first know what purpose your trolley will serve. For transporting goods over short distances, you would not require a lot of customisation. If you are using a trolley mainly for storage, then a simple cage or metal trolley would be the right choice. But if you want your trolley to be multifunctional, then you may opt for a stair trolley, which will help you carry objects up or down the stairs without damaging the wheels. You may also want to use a powered platform trolley if the goods are too heavy to be manually shifted.
- Choosing the right manufacturer.
Once you are clear on what kind of trolley you would need for your unit, it is important to select the correct manufacturer as well. Needless to say, you should always research your seller very well, and make sure to provide the correct specifications. It is a good idea to review a few sample industrial trolleys as well before you select one.
