A normal refrigerator uses the compress cooling system. The compress cooling system uses the vapor compression cycle; this cycle removes the heat from the refrigerator’s inner cabinet and converts the vapors in cool air.

The hot side metal is attached to a heat skin which ejects the heat externally. This heat skin is made of aluminum fins that efficiently send the heat to outside. The heat is absorbed by the Peltier element attached to the heat sink and discharges this heat to the outside. On the other hand, the cold side is attached to the inside of the refrigerator, making the inside cool.
