Battery is old
Another cause of the drain in the battery may be due to the battery being old and not changed for quite some time now. Whenever your car is off there are certain things which the car battery gives power to such as the clock, radio, or the alarm system. But these do not affect the battery that much as compared to inner lights or bad fuses. Always make sure to look after all these things before planning a long drive.
