BodyMods- Canada’s Destination for All Things Body Jewelry and Tattoo Related

BodyMods has come a long way since its founding in 2002. We’re Canada’s premiere destination for all things body jewelry and tattoo related. There’s a lot of reasons why.

For example, we design jewelry in house and carry it in our stores and Studios. We attend large trade shows across the country. And we host our semi-annual Flash events and fundraisers for local charities.

We span from coast to coast and work year-round. We’re always designing, manufacturing, and introducing new jewelry lines. Our latest line is our Premium Jewelry. The Premium line features the best we have to offer. It’s high quality, with delicate details and semi-precious stones and Austrian crystals. This line is available online, in store and at all our Studios. We also offer industry related products alongside our jewelry.

We opened our first full-service Studio in 2012. We made it our goal to be welcoming, friendly, and clean. We wanted to change the stereotypes that tattoo parlours are dark, dirty, and unsafe. Making sure we have the right people for this environment is the key to our success.

It seems like we’re doing it right and we’re proud to be growing. What started as one Studio in 2012 is growing into a full chain. At the time of writing, we’re working on opening our 5th and 6th piercing Studios.

Beyond the stores and Studios, we’re also on the road 10 months of the year. At any given time throughout the year, you can find us across the country. We take part in many high-profile trade shows and events. These include everything from tattoo exhibitions, summer fairs, to music festivals. We’ve done shows in BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Ontario, and Quebec.

There’s a lot happening at home as well! Twice a year we host our famous semi-annual Tattoo Flash Events. Flash is a weekend of discounted 2×2 pre-drawn tattoos and half price piercings. These events often sell out weeks in advance. The atmosphere is always fun and lively. It’s as much a party as it is a sale.

BodyMods also supports local charities, causes, and initiatives. Our largest campaigns are for the BC SPCA. For this cause, we collect donations in a variety of ways. We accept donations in store, raffle gift baskets, and hold bottle drives and garage sales. We also manage large pub nights to raise money. Over the years, we’ve raised tens of thousands of dollars for our furry friends in need. We’ve also sponsored local events. We often sponsor the local community centre’s youth emo night. We supply gift baskets, prizes and offer airbrush tattoos to attendees.

At the end of the day though, jewelry is our passion, and it’s what we do best. We’re more than a typical mall accessory store, and we take what we do seriously. We stand behind absolutely everything we put our name on. Our mantra is QUALITY FIRST!
