  • Load Criteria: Accurately calculating dead loads, dynamic live loads, wind uplift, and lateral forces.

  • Maintenance Accessibility: Designing pier caps with designated jacking locations so maintenance teams can safely inspect or replace bearings after 30 to 50 years of service.
