Business Loan

Business loans are common for startup entrepreneurs because they provide enough money to start a business without relying on other sources. With a business loan, you can borrow several hundred thousands of dollars, which is enough to purchase property and advertise.

You can expect to have anywhere between 5-25 years to pay off a business loan depending on where you get it from.

Personal Loan

Unlike a business loan, which is restricted to business-use, a personal loan can be used for anything. If you don’t need a ton of money to get started, you can get a personal loan to help you cover extra expenses.

These are best used when you need to purchase small things because you can’t borrow as much as you can with a business loan.

Personal loans can be acquired from most banks and credit institutions, making them much easier to get than business loans. However, you won’t have much time to pay them back because the repayment periods usually don’t go longer than 5 years.

Credit Cards

Similar to personal loans, credit cards are easy to get and they’re best used for smaller purchases. The best part about using a credit card for your business is that you can continue borrowing money without having to reapply for loans.

2. Find a Location and Purchase Equipment

After coming up with a way to fund the business, the next thing you’ll need to do is find a location and start purchasing equipment. Understanding how to start a call center isn’t a difficult process, but you’ll need to do some research to decide where to operate from.

One of the benefits of call center management is that you can start the business anywhere. However, some cities are better than others because you can find cheaper labor and pay fewer taxes. Do your due diligence to decide which city you’d like to purchase property in.

When purchasing a building for your call center, you’ll need something large enough to hold your employees. Keep in mind that you’ll need space for a lot of desks, computers, and room to walk.

3. Start the Hiring Process

After settling into an office, you can start hiring employees to get the call center running. You can post job listings on the internet and in physical locations to attract attention to your call center. Before hiring anyone, think of some things that you expect from employees so that you can have an easier time choosing people.

When you post a job listing, you must describe the position and what the employee will be doing. If you have educational or experience requirements, include that information.

As people start applying, you can conduct phone interviews or do them in person. During the interviews, ask simple questions so that you can learn more about applicants and their experience.

Should you decide to move forward with an applicant, you’ll need to provide them with a W-4 form to get the proper tax information from them. Call center hiring will also require employees to fill out I-9 forms to prove their legal eligibility to work in the US.

4. Advertise on Social Media

One of the best call center business tips you can follow is advertising on social media to grow. When you advertise on social media, you’ll have access to a variety of tools to help you reach your target audience without wasting money.

Using the likes of Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram will let you advertise to your audience whenever they’re using the apps. They’ll see the ads as they’re scrolling and if you include a website, then can get redirected to it from the ads.

As you continue advertising, you can monitor which ads are doing well so that you can stop putting money into those that aren’t.
