A large website should allow users to preview lower-level content. Use mega menus to save users’ time in such cases. Mega menus are expandable menus that list many choices in a two-dimensional drop-down layout.
Make related pages available in the local navigation menu. For instance, if the visitor wants to compare related products, he should be able to do it on the same page.
The visual designs of the website such as font weights, color, font styles should be consistent across the navigation.
