Pets

Why Burying Your Pet In Your Yard Is The Worst Thing You Can Do For Your Pet And Your Own Family.

Pet owners would know just how important pets are in our life. But if you are not a pet owner, you might be amused (in a witty sense) by pet owners and their attachment to their pets. The truth is you will never truly understand the significance of a pet in your life. Studies have proved that cats help overcome depression. Similarly, the companionship and friendship of a dog are easy to find and memorable for life. You will often see grown-ups talking about pets they had in their childhood.

The point is,that pets are as dear to owners as other fellow humans. We treat animals so well in their life. Why should you shy away from giving your pet a proper farewell when they pass? Your little furry friend deserves a goodbye and you deserve to give your pet a proper goodbye to have closure as well. Your pet deserves to be cremated and stored in a pretty pet urn. You can find the perfect pet urns at Newcastle and Hunter Pet Crematorium. After the death of your pet, the worst thing you can do is bury them in your yard.

Why You Shouldn’t Bury Your Pet In Your Backyard.

The most common thing owners do is bury their pets in their yard. But most of us are not aware of the hidden dangers of burying a pet in the backyard.

  1.   Digging up your yard is not as easy as it looks. It requires a lot of willpower and body strength.
  2.   Your child, even if a teenager, will be at risk if they try to dig a hole in the ground using dangerous tools.
  3.   If not the pet is not buried properly, there soon will be an unbearable odour in your yard and will probably spread to your neighbours as well.
  4.   Your pet’s remains will attract a lot of unhygienic parasites and insects. Your furry friend’s body decomposes fast when it is not properly under the soil hence making it very prone to parasites and insects.
  5.   You are putting yourself and your family at risk of diseases. If your pet had a disease before passing away, their germs and contagious viruses will spread in the soil and pollute the ground. So every time your little kid is playing in the yard and tries to eat grass or soil, he/she is highly at risk of consuming a deadly virus.
  6.   Burying your pet in your yard poses a threat to the environment as well. Burying your pet can cause soil erosion or water contamination as well. If there are underground pipelines, you will also be at risk of consuming contaminated water.

Alternates To Pet Burial.

What can I do instead of burying my pet? Well, the problem is not burying your pet. The problem is burying your pet in your yard. You can always get your pet buried in pet cemeteries. The safest and most environmentally friendly options however are pet cremation and pet alkaline hydrolysis. Save the environment and put your pet to ease!
