The answer Is ICS which is similar to ICS. EOC structure is in line with incident management on the scene.

ICS as well as the EOC

Incident Command System (ICS) and the EOC are emergency management systems utilized to handle and respond to disasters and emergencies. It is utilized by first responders, like police officers and firefighters and police officers, while the EOC is utilized by officials from the government. It is an operational system to manage resources, whereas the EOC is more strategic and aids in making decisions. The usage of both systems does not mean that they are unique. Both can be utilized simultaneously in one event to give the best response.

ICS was designed to help incidents in buildings outside, whereas it is the EOC was designed to help events that happen within structures. If a catastrophe occurs and a disaster occurs, the ICS can be used to handle and react to it. The EOC can be used to make decisions on how the response will be implemented. In some instances both systems can be able to work together to produce the most efficient responses.

Types of EOCs

Emergency operation centers (EOCs) are available in all dimensions and shapes, however they all share the same objective: assist emergency responders to ensure public safe during emergencies. There are a variety of types of EOCs each with its distinct advantages and drawbacks. This article will review of the three most commonly used kinds.

Single-agency EOC

The most basic kind of EOC is the single-agency EOC. This is a smaller EOC which is used by a single organization for example, the police department or a fire department. Single-agency EOCs are typically employed for small-scale emergency situations, like car accidents or house fires. They’re not suitable for major emergencies such as terrorist attacks , or natural catastrophes.

Joint-agency EOC

The other type that is an EOC is the joint agency EOC. It’s an EOC which is utilized by multiple agencies working in conjunction. For instance, if a police and fire department work together on rescue operations and the police department is involved, they would utilize the joint agency EOC. Joint-agency EOCs are ideal for emergencies of a large scale, for example, natural disasters or terrorist attacks.
