If you have eye allergies, you are likely to end up with swollen and itchy eyes. You will also realize that you tend to rub your eyes often this can then lead to eye twitching. Some over-the-counter eye drop should take care of that.
According to some studies, a lack of some nutrients like magnesium can cause eye spasms. Now, most of these studies are not conclusive but it wouldn’t hurt to have a wholesome diet that supplies your body with all the nutrients it requires to function well.
Your eyes twitching may not be a big deal but you want to do things to ensure that your body functions optimally including your eyes. Now that you know what causes twitching and what can be done to avoid it, you are in a better position to ensure that your eyes don’t give you such issues.
