What makes Diablo 2 resurrected different than other games?

The world of videogames is filled with several fun and interesting games that keep any player entertained for several hours. Among the most highly recommended games is Diablo 2, the successor of Diablo and a role playing action game that was published by Blizzard Entertainment in 2000. The highlight of this game which sets it apart is the horror and dark fantasy theme that excites many players worldwide.

The publishers of this game released an expansion in 2001 by the name of Diablo 2: Lord of Destruction and sequel, Diablo 3, in 2012. Recently, a new version of the game, which is essentially a remastered version of Diablo 2, has been released this year which is known as Diablo 2: Resurrected.

Diablo 2: Resurrected has been co-developed by Blizzard Entertainment and Vicarious Visions and includes Diablo 2: Lord of Destruction which is an expansion of Diablo 2. This game has the same plot as its predecessors where the player is a hero who has to stop the destruction unleashed due to the return of Diablo. Diablo 2: Resurrected is considered to be one of the most influential games published by Blizzard Entertainment that has added a story chapter to the game that revolves around Baal, the Lord of Destruction and two new classes which raised the total to seven.

Visually, Diablo 2: Resurrected is a treat to the eyes and player experience. This game has 4K graphics along with higher frame rate and other changes. For example, you can automatically pick up gold by changing the settings. This game supports New 7.1 surround sound audio and a remastered soundtracks that truly elevates your gaming experience just like a Diablo 2 resurrected boost. The cinematics of the game have been remade to compete with the games of 2021. In spite of all this, the game give you an option to disable this feature if you like the old school version.

Additionally, Diablo 2: Resurrected has been released on several platforms so that more people can enjoy playing the game. Apart from being available as a PC game, Diablo 2: Resurrected is available on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4 and Nintendo Switch. It also supports cross progression so that you don’t have to start again if you are changing your platform. You can just upload your character to your Battle.net account and start from where you left, regardless of where you are playing. On the other hand, this game does not have cross play, hence, if you want to play with some friends then you’ll have to sync up with them and make sure that you’ll be on the same platform.

The fun in playing the Diablo games is in collecting all the great loot. In the previous games, the players had to jump hoops to share items between their characters. However, in Diablo 2: Resurrected, the players can have a singular stash to share between different saved files. In addition to this, the publishers of the game are including a storage expansion which will allow the players to have access to 300 slots of all their items.
