We have more than ten years of experience with LED or tactical flashlights. Development has gone very fast and our expectations for a good flashlight are much higher than ten years ago. The flashlight has a forward-clicky switch so you can send signals such as Morse codes. Normal flashlights will cycle through the different light intensities when the switch is clicked, and that is not the intention. It has 1 switch on the tail side / back. A tactical lamp can certainly have a button on the side to control the light intensity, for example, the tail button is crucial for a military flashlight. They does not have an advanced menu structure. Think for example about certain groups of menus with all kinds of nice gadgets such as battery meter, flash lamps, etc.

UV lamps are incandescent lamps, fluorescent lamps or LED lamps that emit UV light. UV light is invisible to the eye. Most UV lamps or “black lights” also emit blue light. Plastic is light and cheap, but it gets dirty quickly, ages in sunlight and is less strong than metal. Agents are therefore added to the plastic to prevent aging and the effects of UV. ABS is a type of plastic that has these resources and therefore lasts a long time. Rubber is a natural product and is mainly used for its good grip, shock resistance and water resistance.
Aluminium. Many flashlights are made of aluminum. This is an excellent choice for flashlights due to its heat conductivity, strength and low weight. Aluminum housings often have a type III hard anodization. This anodizing is a durable, scratch-resistant protection for the aluminum. The same coating is used for industrial applications and aluminum pans, among others.
The quickest and easiest way to determine your choice for a good flashlight is to start with a brand with a good reputation. There are brands that have been making good flashlights for years. The brands offer a very complete range and have flashlights for every use situation and need. They only use the best materials and safety is of paramount importance. Lesser-known brands do not always take matters such as user safety and quality that seriously.
