Ways to apply liquid eyeliner

Eyeliner is a makeup cosmetic product that most of the women use it. Eyeliners are seen in all the makeup kits. Eyeliner comes in many forms, and you can select the one that works out well for you. One such eyeliner is the liquid eyeliner and is one of the best products for your makeup. It helps to create perfect cat-eyes, statement lines, and graphic wings. Applying liquid eyeliner is tricky and requires a bit of practice before you master it. 

This article covers three liquid eyeliner techniques for all shapes. Before discussing the ways to apply them, just read a gist of the liquid eyeliner types. It comes in two varieties – felt tip liquid eyeliner and brush tip liquid eyeliner.

Brush tip has flexible and loose bristles like a paintbrush. Due to this reason, beginners take some time before mastering it. But brush tips are excellent to create thick to thin lines and create various looks like soft and subtly-rimmed lash lines.

Felt tip is a bit stiffer than the brush tips. It just works amazing for thick, intense winged eyeliner look. As the end is solid, felt tip liquid eyeliner appears darker on your skin. It is easy for beginners to use. 

Whether you are using the felt tip or brush top liquid eyeliner, use the following techniques while applying them.  

 

1. In case you are a beginner, you need to connect the dots to being with applying the eyeliner. Follow the steps listed below:
   1. Stand in front of a mirror. Rest your elbow of the arm on a flat surface.
   2. Like the way you hold a pencil, hold the eyeliner. Rest your palm you use to apply on your cheek.
   3. Title your head slightly back and look at the mirror. Use the view that is comfortable for you.
   4. Make little dots as close to the lash line.
   5. As you reach the upper lash line, continue the dots at an angle towards your eyebrow end and moving as much as you can. Make use of short and feathery strokes and connect the dots.
   6. In case you do not have much eyelid space, start from the bottom eyelashes. Go from the outer edge of your lower lash line to the eyebrow end. Gradually, sweep in to touch your upper lash line. Fill the space to have a beautiful shape.
2. In case you are an intermediate in applying eyeliner, sometimes you will end up erasing the errors while using it. Follow the steps listed below:

1. Stand in front of a mirror. Rest your elbow of the arm on a flat surface.
2. Title your head slightly back and look at the mirror. Use the view that is comfortable for you.
3. Start with the eye center by resting your palm on your cheek. Draw a single line from lash line top towards the outer eye corner.
4. Draw the second line from the eye lid center out. Make it at a slightly steeper angle than the first line. With this, the two lines create an unfilled triangle as they meet the outer eye corner.
5. Fill the triangle using fluid and long strokes starting from the eye outer corner. Check that the eyeliner tip that it stays close to the lash line.
6. If you prefer a graphic or dramatic look, using eyeliner line the bottom lash line, then sweep towards the outer corner that connects to the wing’s thickest part.
7. Set the liner with faces Canada eye shadow and complete with mascara.

1. If you are an expert, use the following steps for a quick and easy application.
   1. Stand in front of a mirror. Rest your elbow of the arm on a flat surface.
   2. Title your head slightly back and look at the mirror. Use the view that is comfortable for you.
   3. Start with the eye’s outer corner towards the eyelid and stay close to the lash line. Repeat the stroke to get an unfilled triangle.
   4. Fill the triangle by sweeping the brush towards the eye’s inner corner.
   5. For an elevated appearance, do not get the liner to the inner eye half.
