Victoria’s Secret Model turned entrepreneur: Elisa Sintjago’s approach to staying motivated

Becoming a Victoria’s Secret model is never easy, especially when you’re neither skinny nor tall. However, dreams and aspirations have a funny way of coming true, and that’s precisely what happened to Elisa Sintjago. 

Elisa’s story isn’t like most others. Born in the Netherlands, the model also wears many hats, including that of an entrepreneur, singer, and songwriter. It’s hard to imagine juggling different careers, but Elisa makes it work. 

Elisa Sintjago hails from a family of musicians. As a result, it’s not surprising that music provided refuge during her early childhood years, which were, by her account, rough. However, the difficulties of her childhood drove her to become the person she is today – a born winner who doesn’t take no for an answer. Impossible isn’t a word that seems to exist, at least not in her vocabulary. 

While music always provided solace during her early years, Elisa discovered her passion for it when she was chosen to sing in church at the age of six. The adrenaline rush she felt on stage cemented her passion. She was going to shine on stage, no matter what. Since then, Elisa has gone from strength to strength in her multiple professions. 

Elisa Sintjago first rose to prominence as a model when she was 16, doing photoshoots in some of the Netherlands’ most famous fashion publications. Then, Victoria’s Secret’s agents called her while she was in Cannes. This talented and ambitious young girl flew across the Atlantic to America to model for the world-famous brand. Things couldn’t have been better, but Elisa’s goals never wavered. She was going to make it big as a musician.

Today, Elisa has recorded multiple songs on all major streaming platforms. She’s also working on her upcoming album, which will be released in the near future. However, her goal remains the same: she wants to thrill her audience like her idol, Michael Jackson, and who can blame her for looking up to the King of Pop?

In addition to her flourishing music career, she also owns multiple businesses. She has a swimwear line called Elisa’s swimwear. Similarly, she’s also the founder of Dollhouse Beauty Lounge and Dreamhouse The Label. 

Maintaining motivation can be challenging when you’ve got so much on your plate. But it’s never been a problem for Elisa, who attributes her motivation to succeed to her early life. She encountered numerous difficulties growing up, which prompted her to make a promise to herself: she would do everything in her power to make it big and be successful. After all, that was the only way to build a better life for herself and her family. 

However, that doesn’t mean she hasn’t had external help. Elisa credits her faith for keeping her going when the going gets tough. She’s also a big proponent of praying, meditating, and exercising in the morning. In addition, her career as a singer-songwriter has also helped her entrepreneurial approach, teaching her the importance of consistency because supporters always want more. 

But arguably, the most important attribute to her success is her mindset. Elisa Sintjago is a strong believer in the power of manifestation and believes in sharing her thoughts with the people around her because you are what you think. Therefore, everything you believe becomes your reality. This same mindset has helped her endure and overcome countless challenges she has faced as a model, entrepreneur, singer, and songwriter. After all, diamonds are formed under pressure, and Elisa is used to challenges weighing her down, only for her to soar again. 

While her journey as a model, singer, and entrepreneur continues, Elisa Sintjago has a few words of wisdom to share with anyone who follows her: “Don’t let failure be the end because there’s always light at the end of the tunnel.”
