What is a GPU?
Graphics Processing Unit (GPU, is a processor that specializes in handing out graphics data. It is a chip that converts data into images. A general-purpose CPU (or central processing unit) can also draw icons and animate the scroll bar, but the speed is not as fast as a dedicated GPU. Modern GPUs not only have the ability to play 4K videos and handle all basic tasks, but they can also even solve some light games. Without a certain type of GPU (whether integrated or dedicated), you won’t be able to see anything on the display.
You need to have graphics on your computer if you want to improve its visual performance. Although the main application runs more powerful games with better image quality, the updated graphics also aid in image modification, video editing, and high-resolution video playback. However, there are a large number of upgrade options available.
