In the period from January to June, analysts recorded a positive trend on the part of foreign citizens choosing Turkey for holidays. In the first half of the year, a total of 806,212 people visited the territory of the Turkish state.

Most of them visited Turkey for tourist purposes, but there were those among them who were interested in real estate, in particular apartments in Turkey. The Turkish state has become the main destination of tourism for foreigners. In September 2021, 780,000 people visited Antalya alone, which is 80,000 more people than Madrid. According to statistics, during the nine months of this year, foreigners accounted for about 40% of guests at Turkish resorts.

The second most popular place for foreigners to visit in 2021 is Cyprus. In the first half of the year, 172,671 people rested here. 

The third place is occupied by Greece, which also welcomed foreigners at its resorts, namely 32,650 tourists. 

The fourth place is Finland. However, these were not tourist trips. Due to the easing of border crossing and easing of restrictions, more than 13,000 foreigners arrived here in September, accounting for 77% of the total number of foreigners entering the territory of Karelia.
