Turning a hobby in a business sounds like a dream come true, right? You get to spend your time doing something you already love – and get paid for it. What could be better than that?

But in reality, making that shift is more complicated than it first appears. With this in mind, before you dive in, it’s worth taking a step back and thinking through a few important factors.
