If you have a Branson vacation in mind, you are going about taking a holiday the right way. You may however wonder about the costs involved in the trip and balk at the expenses. Frankly, there is just no need to do that.

No Budgetary Issues

Your tight budget can take you a long way in Branson. There are many activities here that are amazing and do not cost a dime! So you can have unlimited fun without ever reaching for your wallet even once.

Here’s what all you can enjoy in Branson for free:

You can check out the spectacular Branson Landing Fountain Shows. These are a 7.5 million dollar marvel that has fire cannons and 120-foot geysers that play to tunes! Think lights, music, fire, and water and you have a display that has to be seen to be believed.

Then there is Horse Walk at Dolly Parton’s Stampede. You can meet not just the stars of the show in all their equine glory but also a few of their famous riders. Super interesting, isn’t it?

Call of the Wild

If the nature lover in you is champing at the bit, take a drive along Highways 160 and 165. You will encounter many awe-inspiring views of the Ozark Mountains with gorgeous ridgetops, calm lakes, and riveting river valleys. At many places, you’ll want to just stop and capture a few mesmerizing vistas in pictures to adore forever.

Your foray into nature doesn’t have to end here. At the Ruth and Paul Henning Conservation Area, you have more than 1500 acres of woodlands and forests to explore. There are hiking trails too. Can you imagine the connection with nature you’ll feel in this magnificent glade habitat?

Another interesting place to visit is the ‘crown jewel of Table Rock Lake’ – the Dewey Short Visitors Center. You can spend quite a bit of time in this large place just sitting in the comfortable chairs placed on the observation deck just taking in the magnificent views of Table Rock Dam. You can also watch a movie on how the dam was built and check out the wall murals and artifacts.

A place that children especially love to visit is the Shepherd of the Hills Fish Hatchery. More than a million Brown and Rainbow Trout are produced here in a year to be transferred to Table Rock Lake. You can walk the ‘race ways’ here, enjoy the guided tour and even feed the fish!

There is no dearth of ‘natural’ things to do in Branson. You can explore the Lakeside Forest Wilderness Area next. There is lots to do here with a waterfall, cave, and hiking trails. And if you still want more, you can visit Table Rock Lake State Park after this excursion. There is no admission fee here. Quite a large range of activities are offered here, such as mountain bike trails, hiking, camping, and diving.

Vacations work out only when you are not fretting incessantly about costs. With all these free things to enjoy, you can have a super fun time in Branson and visit it again soon.
