Fab’s creative journey began over a decade ago as a hairstylist. Working in the hair industry, she dedicated her time to acquiring product knowledge. Her favourite part of the job was educating clients on the importance of maintaining proper hair health at home. Having gained enough experience behind the chair, Fab realized she had a passion for hair and beauty products. Fab curated a large selection of products that she felt were tried, tested and true; she would then share these products daily on social media. Sparked by the pandemic, she pivoted her focus to starting an online shop. Fab received hundreds of messages from clients seeking recommendations and suggestions for at-home haircare due to the many salon closures that had taken place within the province. This situation led her to offer a selection of products online and start an Instagram account. Her following grew larger, providing even more people with a direct line of communication to a trained stylist.
