Psychic Dependency on the Psychic Reading

Psychics don’t know when they’ll develop this dependency or what will trigger it. But soon after their first one or two readings, almost all psychics begin to get a little nervous between appointments. Some even start worrying before they have even scheduled their next appointment! They then find themselves thinking about nothing but seeing their favorite psychic reader again and wondering how long it’s going to be until they can do so once more. They begin to take their psychic reader’s advice very personally and they become less able to make their own decisions.

Although psychics enjoy the benefits of having guidance from a trusted source, many don’t realize that it can also have some adverse effects on them as well. For instance, I often hear things like: “I haven’t been doing so well lately since I haven’t had any readings lately” or “I don’t know what came over me, but after last week’s reading, everything went wrong!”

Everything may be just fine in your life right now. You may not even NEED a reading at the moment! But you’re starting to feel anxious about whether or not you should call for an appointment today? What do you think is going on? Could it be that a psychic dependency is developing?

Psychic Dependency

The first time a psychic has an appointment with a reader they trust and admire, it’s like taking ecstasy for the very first time. They enjoy being uplifted and feeling that deeper connection to the universe and God or spirit which is beyond what most people experience in their day-to-day lives.

It’s also quite possible to feel you’re connecting with this energy at a level where your everyday decisions come more easily! As well, when we are blissfully unaware of not having to make these decisions on our own, life flows along much smoother than normal at least for short periods of time until readjustment takes place. But just as with any drug, this positive high comes at a price if you do not pay attention to getting that balance you need in your life when the reading is over. Psychic Dependency: The Cycle of Addiction

The cycle begins with a blissful feeling and euphoria, followed by depression or even paranoia. Finally, reality sets in, and it becomes apparent to the seeker that they are not on their own anymore! They can’t quite focus on what they want to do in their life anymore. Whether it’s important or not, the psychic reader was right about that one thing or another!

Psychic dependency is often long before anyone even realizes there’s a problem. And, ever since the first time I heard someone tell me they wanted to see me (a psychic medium) “more often,” I’ve been saying that this isn’t necessarily your best option for getting what you need. It can end up being very expensive trying to get relief for problems when you can instead learn how to handle them on your own!

Take it Slow and Easy or You’ll Spoil the Experience!

If you start seeing a psychic, magician, or another type of metaphysical practitioner on a regular basis because you’re feeling anxious or upset about something which happened in your life recently, then you will become dependent upon them to tell you what happened (the truth) about the events that are troubling you. And if they don’t know for sure, then at least their advice should help calm your anxieties and fears, correct?

However, in most cases, this is not a very good idea! If you’re seeking spiritual guidance from someone with psychic or medium abilities who is still relatively new to their craft, chances are they will have some difficulty defining all of the details for you. They may even make mistakes that would be rather embarrassing to admit. Not many people would want to share those revelations with others as well. Hence, asking them every single question that comes up over and over again by phone or e-mail until they can give you the answer you’re looking for is NOT helpful!

Conclusion

As stated above, developing a psychic dependency can have many consequences: you will start to feel trapped in your life and even become dependent upon the information or guidance that comes from others whether it be by way of talking with spiritual “authorities” or finding out what friends think about what you do.
