Most Powerful Gangs in GTA San Andreas

Grand Theft Auto San Andreas, despite the fact that it was released all the way back in the year 2004, still remains one of the best open-world titles of all time be it for PC or Android, due to its amazing gameplay, epic car customizations, character attributes, great storyline and deadly gangs. In this article we are going to talk about gangs in GTA San Andreas APK, which is of course one of the key features of the game as the story revolves around the gang wars that are actually based on real life gangs.

There are a number of gangs in GTA San Andreas that rule the city of Los Santos and San Fierro, even the only protagonist and playable character in the game, Carl Johnson belongs to one of the gangs, namely Grove Street Families. But which of these gangs are the most powerful and dangerous?

1-Ballas

Ballas comes at the top of our list for the most powerful gangs in GTA San Andreas, it is one of the largest African-American gangs in the game with ties to many of other gangs that actually work for them and even one of the most dangerous and corrupt police man and antagonist, Tenpenny works with the gang and provides protection to it.

The Ballas are into all kinds of nasty businesses in the city from weapon trafficking, extortion, theft, vehicle trafficking and so much more. But their main source of income and power is Drug Manufacturing and dealing, Ballas are the single largest drug manufacturers in the city which is later run by one of CJ’s childhood friends, Big Smoke, who betrays him later in the game.

Ballas are hostile to many other gangs but their main competitors or rivals are the Grove Street Families as they live close by, with many territories at clash.

2-Grove Street Families

Grove Street Families or GSF is like their top rival Ballas, are one of the largest African-American gangs in the city with many areas under their control. Sean “Sweet” Johnson is the leader of the gang and brother to Carl Johnson.

GSF is also involved in all sorts of crimes except for the drug dealing as that’s something that they have a major stance against which is why they also hate Ballas so much and don’t want them dealing drugs in their territories or to their members.

Grove Street Families happens to be the most powerful gang in the game during the start but loses power after CJ leaves the gang for a while and Tenpenny does everything in his power to bring the gang down with Ballas. But after CJ’s return to the gang, it begins to get more powerful and eventually takes over all the other gangs including Ballas after destroying their main source of income, the crack palace, run by Big Smoke, who also gets killed at the end of the story along with Tenpenny.
