Meet the Legendary – Christine Reidhead

One borned and raised in Arizona, this special lady comes and doesamazing things for the nation and across the world. Even for her contribution, sometimes the world cannot thank her enough. Christine Reidhead is one of those outstanding ladies. She currently lives in Crownpoint, New Mexico working as an educator at Navajo Technical University. Sheis a woman of many talents, working in a variety of sectors such as podcasting, education, and other things, that we should get to know more about!

Risen and the early period

The family of Christine is from both Duncan, Arizona and Benson, Arizona. Her parents have five children and she is the youngest one. From the early time of her life, she wasspecial and hard working. She grew up in a household that valued work and long hours in the family business. She attended Benson High School and participated in athletics such as basketball, volleyball, tennis and softball. She was the three point champion for the state of Arizona in 1997. Christine talks about how grateful she was for being raised in such a great community with a lot of love and support.It was this time in her life that built a solid foundation she would fall back on as a strength throughout her life.

Education and Profession

In 2004, she obtained her Bachelor’s of Arts in Elementary Education and went on to obtain a Master’s degree of Sciene in Accoutancy from the University of Phoenix. This led to her accepting a job at Navajo Technical Univeristy in Crownpoint, New Mexico. Which she has been at for nine years and counting. Christine is a business professor and Department Chair, while also serving as the Faculty Vice-President. It was an awesome journey for her from the early beginning. She also is an author and podcaster.

Current status and condition

Christine’s podcasts have been garnering attention. The Tribal College Movement Podcast was published by the Tribal College Journal. The Tom Davis Leadership Podcast is currently being published by The Los Angeles Tribune. All things Christine touches, seems to work. This is a great lesson in life that the harder we work, the luckier we seem to get. Her hard work shines through everything she does.

Overall, the thingsone thing we learn about her, is she is such a type of lady who doesn’t like to give up. From the early time of her life, she was determined and worked hard every day to accomplish her dreams. In a short time,she has become a Founder of AfrikRising, professor,author and podcaster. She is an inspiration for all.
