MGK’s Hair Transplant
The MGK hair transplant is a scene that has been the talk of a prominent magazine whether he had a hair transplant or not. Lots of hairstyles estimate that he had undergone a hair transplant with Hairbrained. Pointing to the photos of the back of MGK’s head appears to show a scar across his skull which made experts believe that he opted for a procedure known as Follicular Unit Transplantation (FUT). In MGK’s twenties, he had a hairline in the shape of ‘M,’ a visible sign of receding hairline. To face his fear of going bald, he opted to carry a hair transplant which he did and has been seen with a fuller, thicker hairline.
MGK’s Hair Transplant Treatment
The treatment MGK had to take was for him to prevent his hair from going bald. He used the 100% Follicular Unit Transplantation (FUT) method, which he found more convenient.
It is a type of transplantation performed through the skin’s tissue which contains hair follicles at the back of the head, which is the donor area. In his early 20’s, the doctor never gave an option for the Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) transplant unless it had to be a small session such as 1000 +/- grafts. He needed more than 1000, so he gave himself to using the FUT method. The FUT method, which affected a small part of his donor region, could still propel him later on to doing another FUT or even merging both the FUT and FUE method which over the long term has shown good utilization of the donor area.
Machine Gun Kelly’s Number of Hair Transplants (Approximation)
Machine Gun Kelly used the FUT (follicular unit strip surgery) method for his hair transplant. Choosing the FUT method was one of his most comfortable decisions for his hair transplant. The Strip surgeries are easily spotted once the person cuts their hair at the back of his head. The FUT scar MGK had was 15cm -20cm long. The current width of his strip scar isn’t equal to the width of the original strip, which was taken from MGK’s actual donor area on the very day of his hair transplant.
Due to skin laxity, the FUT scars always become narrow, but they rarely get shortened in length.
Conclusion
The look of Machine Gun Kelly when he won the VMA’s was outstanding, as well as his hair. His fans saw it and noticed an epic change in his hair, which made them think he has done a hair transplant. Most of them were so in love with it since it made him look different than his past years without it.
