Kyle Jones, Co-Founder of iCRYO is Helping Elevate Cryotherapy to Top of Health and Wellness Throughout the U.S.

From a very young age, Kyle Jones and his father, Bill grew up as multi-sport athletes, which inevitably led into fitness, health, and wellness. It was during Kyle’s time in college where he started to transition his focus from being an athlete to truly understanding how the industry has evolved into prioritizing recovery, creating iCRYO immediately upon graduating. When Kyle and his father launched the franchise, there wasn’t another cryotherapy franchise out there to replicate or a business model to mirror.

Kyle’s underlying fascination with cryotherapy began with the origin of whole body cryotherapy – to treat arthritis and fibromyalgia. It has since been used to adjust both an individual’s physical and mental landscape, reducing inflammation in the entire body.

Headquartered in Houston, Texas, iCRYO has continued to set the industry standard for health and wellness nationwide. As the leading franchise in the industry, iCRYO provides an affordable, convenient, and professional franchise that offers cryotherapy, IV infusions, and additional wellness services to the communities in which they are located, offering a turnkey franchise system for business owners.

While the Jones’ maintain a majority of the equity in the company, they have taken on small investors in the form of sweat equity, brought on friends and family members to invest, as well as having original staff members and the executive team serve as the brand ambassadors for the franchise.

Together, Kyle and Bill have continued to recognize the need for alternative solutions to recovery, anti-aging, and pain management.

Elevating Your Health For 2022

Back in October, the company announced that it will be bringing the 1st Annual iCRYO Conference, “Elevate” to the brand, for a three-day weekend in April of team building, education, and immersion into iCRYO culture. The conference will serve as the company’s first annual company event, bringing together the franchise’s corporate team, investors, brand ambassadors, and franchisees.

This, according to Jones, is an opportunity for all iCRYO franchisees, corporate team, vendors, and investors to be in the same place to discuss the latest in health and wellness. “Whole body cryotherapy is not just for athletes and physical recovery; it can be used to help with sleep, stress, anxiety, depression, skin conditions, and so much more. The mental clarity and cognitive benefits you gain from doing cryotherapy are just as vast as the physical recovery benefits it brings.”

Over the past two years, most people have changed their spending habits drastically, making cryotherapy and what iCRYO has to offer in such demand as we approach 2022.

Valued at around $3.8 billion in 2020, the global cryotherapy market is expected to expand at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 10.3% through 2028. Consumers want to feel better and are constantly looking for ways to feel better, look better, and live as long of a life as possible by adopting natural methods such as cryotherapy. “The average consumer is becoming more educated about what’s good, what’s bad, and what’s a fad,” Jones told Entrepreneurs Break.

“One of the bigger challenges is that even though a person may know what they need to do for their own health and wellbeing, it’s often cost prohibitive to do so. At iCRYO, it’s our goal to provide that top-notch wellness and recovery experience at affordable prices, making it as accessible and convenient as possible – all while maintaining and promoting a safe, friendly environment.”

Giving a Voice to Franchise Operators

“Necessity is the mother of invention,” said Kyle’s father and iCRYO CEO Bill Jones. “It is truly a proverb that resonates when you think about one’s health and wellness, specifically as it pertains to the current unhealthy state of the average person, and the desire to live healthier, longer pain-free lives without taking pharmaceutical drugs to mask the pain and discomfort.

Back in July, iCRYO announced the formation of their Franchisee Advisory Committee (FAC), bringing comprehensive healthcare expertise from developers, providers, and executive experience together, so that franchisees are always heard.

“It allows the operators/franchisees to put in the work on the ground to give real-time feedback on the positives and negatives from company guests.” The new board will be chaired by Matthew Pepe, a healthcare entrepreneur and multi-unit iCRYO owner in North Carolina.

At the end of the day, Jones encourages future franchise owners to be as passionate about their business as the first day they signed their franchise agreements. “You need to build your staff inside your Centers and groom them along the way during their employment. We have a company culture that takes a ‘coaching and mentoring’ approach to the people that work for us. Remember to stick to the system that you are buying into.”

Over the past year, iCRYO has sold more regions for future locations, and in the coming months, it will open locations faster than ever. With a physical presence in over 7 states, including Texas, New York, Ohio, Florida, Connecticut, Indiana, and North Carolina. The company just opened its newest location in South Carolina.

Back in August, iCRYO announced that it had signed its fourth Area Development deal for 32 locations in Southeast Florida.
