At Innovative Aluminum Systems we design, manufacture and supply the next-generation of maintenance-free aluminum railing products to dealers across North America.
Innovative Aluminum Systems has been in business since 2004 and since that time, we have grown from a 3-man crew operating from a 5,000 square foot warehouse, to a crew of nearly 30 people utilizing a 30,000 square foot facility.
Our main product lines are glass and aluminum picket guard railings. We have designed exclusive extruded aluminum components needed for the various applications, with high tolerance, structural strength, modularity, esthetics, and ease of installation. We provide guard railing systems that are robust, light weight, cost effective and modular that requires no amount of welding, giving our dealers the ability to cut and fit our products to meet their specific job site conditions.
Our aluminum guardrails are utilized in the construction industry and are installed on single family residential, multi family and high-rise apartment buildings for both the new construction and renovation markets.
In May of 2012 we undertook a major project to add a powder coating facility to our operations. This plant was successfully financed, acquired, installed, and commissioned by the current management team allowing us to control this crucial manufacturing necessity.
Through a lot of work and effort, we started performing trials on August 10th 2012 and only two weeks later, Innovative Powder Coatings Ltd painted its first materials on August 24th 2012. This has since become a product that has been performing in the field for nearly 10 years without issue.
Further to this, we are one of only a handful of powder coating facilities in BC and the Western United States that have met the rigorous quality standards and testing requirements to be certified to apply an AAMA 2605 grade of powder.
