Industry Problem Solver: How Farmer Ryan is Revolutionizing Sustainable Farming and Inspiring Other Farmers and Entrepreneurs

The need for farmers, let alone sustainable agriculture, has never been more critical than it is now, especially considering that the worldwide population by 2030 is expected to surpass that of over 10 billion people.

Enter Ryan Early, aka ‘Farmer Ryan’, the founder of Blue Green Ventures. The sustainable farmer is a significant player in the industry’s evolution and the hemp and cannabis industries. His mission is to help improve the quality of people’s lives and our global habitat and curb dangerous chemical use in food crop production.

His company has already developed an incredible product in Blue Magic, an eco-sustainable and non-toxic pest preventative and fungicide. It includes a patented pheromonal replication technology called BiomeMax. Additionally, he opened a cutting-edge genetics bank, the Midwest Microbiome Genomics Repository, to continue the education process of the hopeful legalization of psilocybin and psilocin for the psychological and cognitive benefits attributed to these therapies. He has also partnered with ProReLeaf to lead the manufacturing and distribution efforts of the company. His team is actively producing products that help those suffering from everyday strains of playing the Game of Lifes, like the company’s signature CBD roll-on gel that is both mentholated and nano-infused.

It’s safe to say that Farmer Ryan is primed to take farming to the next level. But what about the rest of the industry?

The success of the farming industry doesn’t just hinge on the production of crops and products but also government influence. The industry is prime for innovation, marketing infrastructure and private agency and institutional impact.

Entrepreneurial (Farming) Spirit

Farmer Ryan has revolutionized the industry with his tactics, techniques and outside-the-box efforts and set a new precedent for farming enterprises. In addition, he has set the pace for future industry survival and growth through numerous research and development projects.

“I think, as farmers, we need to learn how to adapt to the ever-changing world,” he said. “The industry has changed immensely over the past few years, and it will take innovation, modernization and other forms of entrepreneurship to continue one’s farming success.”

Entrepreneurs are not just sitting in highrise corner offices anymore. The farming industry is starting to notice. Farmers need to be business savvy and socially responsible. Marketing and knowing the audience are essential in product manufacturing and distribution.

“I’ve noticed that, typically, an entrepreneur aims to attack two avenues, producing vertically to make a product profitable and finding ways to improve the quality of the product to increase the profit over time,” he said. “For farmers to develop marketing strategies and to give the green light to campaigns is a scary thought, but it is what is required now. This all requires a calculated risk.”

Simply put, farming is now more than the daily management of crops and products and the industry is only continuing to become more competitive. As a result, most farmers merely produce to meet their own consumption needs while selling surplus crops and products to the market. Still, the sky’s the limit, venturing into a modernized approach, like with agricultural technology, marketing strategies and partaking in producing other crops that they don’t usually produce.

“There are a few avenues where farmers can really benefit from today’s climate,” Farmer Ryan said. “It is important to have a marketing strategy that sets the standard for the appearance, distribution and price of the products, as well as strategies for engaging with stakeholders, partners and customers. It’s all about how you manage your finances and not being scared to take risks. It’s just part of the game. That one that finds success could be the difference maker.”
