As a real estate agent, you want to utilize every option available to you to reach your potential clients. Being part of a large event or conference gives you access to participants that have yet to hear of you. Here are a few steps to follow when setting up your booth at the next trade show.

Table of Contents

  • Incorporate Devices Into Your Booth
  • Schedule Appointments With Clients and Associates
  • Bring Fun Swag To Give Away

Incorporate Devices Into Your Booth

Your booth must be more than tables and fabric screens to attract your future clients. You should incorporate digital marketing that visitors can relate to in order to catch their attention. Record walk-through tours of the Lehigh Valley, PA homes for sale and play them on flat-screen television screens mounted along the sides and back. Construct light-up signs of your company logo and other related graphics and hang them up in the space. If it is a service that your office offers, bring an architect with you to sketch out building plans for a custom home. This allows customers to plot out their next dwelling the way that they want it.

Schedule Appointments With Clients and Associates

Trade shows can be an excellent time to meet with clients, especially if they want a say in the way their home is designed. It is an opportunity to introduce them to other members of your build team who are also at the event, such as your landscaper or electrician. You can utilize the one-on-one time to talk about the Lehigh Valley, PA area and the benefits of living there. This also gives you the chance to converse with others in the house manufacturing industry so you can build partnerships and work together on projects. Once you have paid your fee to be part of the conference, reach out to those you know will be attending and set up private meetings to talk. Check with the venue to see if they have small rooms available to chat. If they do, reserve one for the duration of your stay.

Bring Fun Swag To Give Away

You want the visitors who stopped by your booth to remember you in the future when they consider buying a new home. One way to do that is to give them fun items, or swag, to take with them when they leave. These products can be pens, keychains, koozies, or pads of sticky notes. However, these things can be put aside or lost when that crucial moment comes. If your budget allows, consider offering higher-tech options. This includes USB sticks, pop sockets, or devices that prop up your cell phone. These eye-catching trinkets can be used every day, keeping you and your message fresh in their minds at all times. Analyze your budget to see what you can afford to spend. Research sites that offer what you are interested in and get an estimate of how much they will cost. You may try to reach out to the business that you want to work with to see if they have any specials that they can offer to you.
