How to protect the Health of Your Employees at the Office

After two years of a difficult health situation, that has caused many to stay home for long periods of time, instead of going to the office, it is important to take time to implement different rules and regulations to protect employees’ health, now that they are back. You should also think about acquiring products that will help them stay in good shape, away from viruses, but also from back problems. Here are a few ideas that will come in handy.

It All starts with Clean Air

To some people, going to the office nowadays, makes them worried. The idea of having to breathe the same air as other people, even with a mask on, makes them anxious about getting sick. Stress from the office is often the first health problem that employees incur, but they certainly shouldn’t have to worry about the air they breathe. In fact, with an air purifier Shield by JVD, the office manager will have solved this problem in no time.

When using such a product, it eradicates potential viruses, but also pollutants and allergens that can also cause health problems to some employees. It neutralizes them first, before eliminating them completely. It is also a great solution for odour issues, which can happen frequently, with many people working in one space.

Keep Muscle Pains and Backaches Away

The most common health issue found in an office, is back pain. Men and women are not meant to be sitting at a desk, in front of a computer, for seven to eight hours a day. But if they have to do so, then they should be equipped with the best office chairs in the industry. It is the only thing that will keep them away from feeling muscle pains throughout the day, and going home with an aching back, at night.

But the furniture in itself won’t solve the whole problem. You need to get the employees moving, at least a few minutes every hour. Ideally, you can do even more for them. If you buy gym carpets and encourage them to take 10 minutes, every one hour and a half or so, by exercising the various parts of their bodies, they will regain a shape that they haven’t had in years (for most). Because it doesn’t take more than 15 to 20 minutes a day, to reshape one’s muscles, all the while helping their heart stay in better shape.

Provide Them with a Place to Rest

One of the most important locations inside an office is the break room, where employees can enjoy some time off. If you don’t provide them with a place where they can really break their routine, they will not be as efficient throughout the day as they could be. One of the most popular ideas, in the last few years, has been to build an outside terrace, with all the necessary accommodations for everyone to relax and breathe some fresh air, before they head back to their desk. It is an investment worthwhile, that will help raise the level of production and keep it at its best the whole day.
