Canceling Netflix subscription is pretty simple to do, meanwhile, how to cancel solely depends on how you set up the service in the first place. If you subscribe to Netflix services directly, it is basically possible to cancel via the Netflix web page through a web browser. If on the other hand, you subscribed through iTunes, you will need to opt-out of the service using an iPad or iPhone.

Cancel Netflix Subscription using a Web browser
We previously noted that you can cancel the Netflix subscription from its web page by using your browser. To do this;
- Launch a browser and input Netflix.com in the URL box
- Click on the downward-pointing arrow at the top right corner of the web page
- Then Click Account
- Click Cancel under Membership and Billing
- Then confirm your decision to cancel
It’s possible you still have a DVD plan, you can cancel it also by clicking “Cancel DVD plan” and then confirm when you are prompted to.
It’s possible you don’t see the option to cancel your subscription on the web page. This means you set up your account through a third-party. There is information on the page as regards who is charging you for Netflix services. Third parties like smart TV services can appear on the listing of who is billing you, if you see one, contact them directly, informing them that you want to cancel your subscription.
Cancel through iTunes
Your Netflix account can be billed through iTunes if you allowed it. In this case, the cancellation can be done via iPhone or iPad. Follow our guide on doing this;
- Go to the Settings app on your iPad or iPhone
- Click iTunes and App Store
- At the top of the screen, tap your Apple ID
- Proceed to click on View Apple ID
- Now tap Subscriptions
- Tap Netflix when you see it in the list of active subscriptions
- Now tap Cancel Subscription
- And finally, confirm
