How to backup android phone to PC

In the fast-moving time, there are many things on which one is dependent. One of the things is the mobile phone, and there are a number of activities or working which one does on a mobile phone. USB – For this, it is essential that the android phone and computer need to be on. Then one needs to do the following steps.

Step 1 – Plug the one end of the USB cable into the android phone while other into the computer.

Step 2 – Then go to the Settings. In settings there is General, click on it.

Step 3 – Then choose the Developer option from it

Step 4 – Then a new screen will come and choose the USB debugging or Android debugging from the mobile. One needs to make it activated.

Note – If one does not have the Developer Option, then go to the settings. In the settings, there is a system, from there select About Phone. In that tap on the build number around seven times.

Step 5 – Check on notifications; there will be an option of USB for file transfer. Tap on it.

Step 6 – When one tap on it, a new screen appears on the mobile. From this one need to select Transfer files (Transfer files to another device)

Step 7 – On the computer go to this PC where one could able to see the name of their android mobile phone. Double-tap on the name of the android phone.

Step 8 – Copy all the data from the mobile phone which one wants to take a backup from it.

Step 9 – Create a folder where one wants to take the backup on the computer. Paste all the data copied in it.

Note – If there are multiple data like photographs, documents, etc. In this case, one can copy it one by one and then paste into the folder where the backup is to take.

Google Account – Most of the android phones are carrying the features in which the backup to a linked google account is done on its own automatically. One does not have to worry about the backup. These backups are done on a regular basis at certain intervals. For this, it is essential that one needs to sign in the google account on their smartphone. If this is signed in then, there are various information that gets automatically stored in the google account as soon as it gets recorded into the mobile phone such as settings in Android-phone, preferences of the display, Wi-Fi networks, passwords and many more.

If these settings are not enabled then it could be enabled by following these steps :

Step 1: Go to the settings of android phone.

Step 2: Then tap on the Backup and reset or Backup and restore.

Step 3:  A new screen will appear in which there will be Back up my data and Automatic restore. Ensure to enable them by swiping it on.

Step 4: Tap on it and select all the options available there, which ensures that the data is synced into the Google account.

Step 5: Then, from login into the google account from the computer, one can download all the data into the computer. Or if one wants then in case of a change in a mobile phone all the data will get automatically transferred to the new mobile as with the same google account it is logged in.

Note: – There may be a difference in enabling Google account depending on the android phone one is using.

Bluetooth – If one wants to connect with the computer, then there is another option through the Bluetooth. In this, both could be linked through the Bluetooth and then it will transfer the files from one device to another. But this process is a bit time-consuming. However, it could be tried for transferring the information or data from android phone to computer.

Step 1: On the mobile, go to the settings then tap on connections.

Step 2: In connection, one will find the Bluetooth option, enable it.

Step 3: In the PC with Windows 10, click on the start button and go on settings.

Step 4: There is an option of enabling Bluetooth. Enable the Bluetooth; once it is done, then it will automatically detect the nearby enabled devices of Bluetooth.

Step 5: Select the android phone Bluetooth device and connect it with the PC.

Step 6: Then one can select the files that need to be transferred from the android phone to PC.
