Named after Christopher Columbus upon its founding in 1812, the city of Columbus has turned into one of the thriving hubs of commerce for the people of Ohio. Although it is the headquarters of many major Fortune 500 companies, the smaller mom-and-pop shops draw the attention of visitors to the area. One such shop is Blended & Blessed, located in the German Village block of Columbus.
Founded by Kamlin Colter, 21, of Ohio State University, Blended & Blessed offers a range of unique drinks and snacks, supported by popular Herbalife Nutrition products.

Connecting Communities Through Nutrition
Originally opening its doors in May of 2021, Blended & Blessed offers a range of flavored drinks, including such mixtures as Cream Coffee, Tiger Lily Tea, and Chocolate Brownie Batter Shake. While they might not sound exactly healthy, these beverages are all crafted from Herbalife products, which are fortified with vitamins and minerals and often low in calories. These drinks make for a satisfying breakfast or snack.
Outside of Blended & Blessed, Herbalife Nutrition Clubs have become something of the norm, at least among those who know where to look. Nutrition Clubs are traditionally independently owned distributors that have partnered with Herbalife to spread the word about healthy nutrition and nutritional supplements.
As part of Herbalife Nutrition’s mission statement on social responsibility, the company continues to focus on building trust within small and large communities alike by empowering independent distributors. Other community outreach programs by Herbalife include the Herbalife Nutrition Foundation and the Nutrition for Zero Hunger Initiative.
Independent Distributors Drive Innovation
More than just another place to spend time and money, Herbalife Nutrition Clubs endeavor to connect customers with both products and pivotal information to make their fitness and wellness journeys a success. According to Lais, a customer from Miami, “People at the clubs hold your hand and tell you step by step. It’s somebody who cares about you — they coach you.”
Within the walls of a Herbalife Nutrition Club, clients connect with distributors who are trained and knowledgeable regarding the products before them. Using this insight and information, club members can guide patients to the personalized plans that work best for them. Herbalife aims to provide a no-stress environment within its clubs, where communities can connect, distributors can showcase products, and supportive coaching can take hold to help guide successful wellness.
Finally, Herbalife is also focused on addressing food deserts through its distributor-operated Nutrition Clubs. With more than 6.2% of the American population living within these urban and food-restricted areas, Nutrition Clubs bring much-needed access to nutritional supplements and other products where they are needed most.
About Herbalife Nutrition Clubs
Herbalife first opened its doors in 1980, angling to provide shoppers with access to nutritional products backed by science and consumer demand. With products available exclusively through independent Herbalife Nutrition distributors, Nutrition Clubs are the ideal way for shoppers to begin changing their wellness routine. Nutrition Club owners will typically charge guests an attendance fee that provides access to shakes, aloe, teas, and other group activities like workouts, weight-loss challenges, and walks.
The first-ever nutrition club was opened by Enrique Varela and Graciela Mier in Mexico in 2004. In the decades since, nutrition clubs have enjoyed explosive popularity, growing to more than 75,000 non-residential locations at the time of this writing.
Herbalife Nutrition currently operates in 90+ countries globally with more than 10,000 employees on its roster.
