Edenilso Rossi Arnaldi’s Investment in Civil Engineering and Brazil’s Future

Edenilso Rossi Arnaldi is the CEO and founder of one of Brazil’s core engineering and construction companies, Sial Engineering. With more than 30 years of experience as the company’s head, he continues to be active in operations and the development, construction and expansion of a wide range of infrastructure, building and public mobility projects in Brazil.

The work done by Arnaldi and Sial contributes directly to the economic advancement and modernization of municipalities in the country. Arnaldi’s work could be considered a symbiosis with participating players. The context provides him with an overview of the interplay of multiple disciplines.

To foster the growth and abilities of these supporting actors and to facilitate progress, Edenilso Rossi Arnaldi has served on various councils and construction and government groups.

An example of his endeavors is his engagement in real estate investment, his financing of equity for modernization and his dedication to housing development in an already-stable Brazilian housing market.

Edenilso Rossi Arnaldi was born on July 27th, 1962, to a father who drove trucks and a mother who taught at school. He grew up in the province of Paranavai where his family worked as community pioneers. His grandfather, Seu Domingos, set the course for the local economic growth by opening the first regional ice cream parlor and market.

Adélia Rossi Arnaldi, Edenilso’s mother, also gained further recognition by being honored with the Grupo Escolar Alves for her teaching endeavors. The group was later renamed the Grupo Escolar Professora Adélia Rossi Arnaldi.

Arnaldi grew up alongside four siblings, and with his academic studies completed, he moved to Maringá where he first worked as a bank clerk at Banco Bradesco. At 27, he married Fabíola Guimarães Arnaldi and began a family of three children.

Arnaldi advanced in his career by working for construction and engineering companies and specializing in cement technologies for large construction projects. Through his experience, Arnaldi became interested in civil construction and moved to Cascavel, western Paraná, where he founded Sial Construções Civis in the early 90s.

The business served as an entry into public works through small contracts for sanitation. Sial’s commitment to employee satisfaction and quality grew the company’s reputation and scope. The standing garnered the business larger contracts. Arnaldi also expanded his network with industry and government leaders, which led to his engagement in public service.

Sial eventually began working in public housing, mobility, sanitation and security. It engaged in building public amenities, hospitals and detention centers. The work was recognized nationally for creating long-term jobs and leading hyper-local economies.

In 2002 Sial moved to Curitiba. In 2010, it changed its name to Sial Construções & Engenharia and, in 2017, to Sial Engenharia.

Over this time, Edenilso Rossi Arnaldi worked collaboratively on various platforms and devoted time to leadership positions in various organizations.

Arnaldi served as President for the Construction Industry Union of Western Paraná and the State Chamber of Civil Construction. In both capacities, he defended industry evolution in Brazil. He also served as State Treasurer for the Social Democratic Party and ran for General Deputy of the State of Paraná in 2018, picking up a 35-thousand-vote win.

Edenilso Rossi Arnaldi also launched two companies, Massapê Construções and Laguardia Empreendimentos, to promote GDP growth and increase real estate development in Brazil.
