Have you ever been in a position where you achieved great success, only to feel like something crucial is lacking in your life? For a very long time, I felt just the same as I worked in the corporate world, despite all the accomplishments and dedication to my work.
With over two decades of experience in the corporate world as a successful marketing manager in the industrial manufacturing industry, I’ve come to an important realization. Despite achieving various career milestones, I couldn’t overlook my increasing sense of unfulfillment. The demands of my job, long commutes, and constant travel had started to take a toll on my wellbeing. It was clear that a change was necessary, not just for myself, but also to create a positive impact for the people around me. I wanted to explore more fulfilling things that would allow me to contribute more to the world beyond the confines of an office.
As a child, I was raised to be very active in the church, but deep inside, I knew that there was more to spirituality than following dogmatic teachings. I decided to take matters into my own hands and began studying philosophical and spiritual books written by great authors like Alan Watts, Eckhart Tolle, Mooji, Rupert Spira, Leonard Jacobson, and Ram Dass, among others. Their teachings opened doors I never knew existed, and I was immediately hooked. I delved deeper into meditation and spirituality and found peace and contentment in the process.
Studying these great teachers helped me to develop the art of presence, which has helped me reduce stress and anxiety. Learning to live in the moment has brought me happiness beyond measure. I have found my niche and my calling, and I am so grateful for the benefits these teachings have brought me.
Now, I want to inspire and teach others to reap the benefits of living in presence. I was led to explore spirituality and meditation as a journey of self-discovery and though starting my journey towards change was not an easy one, I immediately realized incredible improvement in my life. I became less anxious and stressed while focusing on living fully in each present moment. I realized the missing piece was found in the transformative practices I had been lacking.
Through my journey, I discovered the power of living in the moment and taking charge of my life. As a result, I established the Direct Path Institute, an online and global community that encourages students to cultivate mindfulness and strength through the practice of yoga and meditation. The program aims to empower individuals to tackle any challenge that comes their way and instill a sense of purpose in their lives.
Witnessing numerous students achieve this shift in perspective and embrace their potential fills me with boundless optimism for making the world a better place. Join our thriving community and embark on a journey towards self-discovery that will leave you feeling revitalized and equipped to make a meaningful impact in the world (wherever your place is in it).
