Diablo 2 looks and starts as a fun adventure game, where the main focus is on combat, fighting hordes of mythical creatures, traveling to dungeons, clearing zones, and all that. But by the second Act, you should start realizing that those talents you upgrade can be combined to create super-effective ability combos. This inevitably leads to the idea of build creation. Assuming that you never played the original game, this could be something you’ve never heard about. Although, all these years ago, those who have played the original version were making the same mistakes. They would put the upgrade points in random talents, and when the time came to face a boss at the end of an act – they would die miserably and quite fast. The game is ruined, and there’s no way you can defeat the boss with such a broken character. There’s nothing left to do but to start with a fresh character.

This is the kind of mistake new players may end up making in the Resurrected version of the game because, in this regard, the game hasn’t changed. That said, Diablo 2 resurrected power leveling must be approached with a plan. Here’s something else, not all D2 players realize. Especially the new ones. Fact is, for the first playthrough, by the first time, you finish. In the game, your character won’t be able to reach the max level. Diablo 2 is meant to be finished multiple times, each time with increased difficulty. For your first time, only the normal difficulty is available. For your second – you should try Nightmare difficulty. The game will throw empowered enemies at you but also offer better and more powerful rewards! Also, you’ll be able to go for the second time with the same character and continue to level them up. So, you must plan your character leveling and build for several playthroughs ahead. This is not something a lot of games make you do. The thing is – if you fail, you can say goodbye to the higher difficulties and better loot.

Saving The World Several Times in a Row

Let us reiterate because this is something that isn’t done in most games. Finishing the game once won’t let your character reach the max level. For the true ending, and to reach the max level 99, you must finish the game 3 times on 3 different difficulty levels. However, even that won’t guarantee the max level. You must try to accumulate a particular amount of XP. Thankfully that amount is a fixed number. It won’t change no matter what class you play or what build you’ve chosen.

To do it right, you could go ahead and search and read a bunch of guides. Learn about different builds, classes, and leveling methods. Or you could simply use the Diablo 2 resurrected boost. Why is it a better alternative? Well, first of all, you won’t have to concern yourself with all the additional info that will frankly not make your gameplay any better. Despite the “true ending,” you will only be truly invested in the story for your very first playthrough. After it, you’ll likely want to try out different classes. Because finishing the game 3 times with the same class, is not as fun, to say the least. So, why not just let some professional handle the leveling so you don’t waste your time on it. That way, you’ll get a powerful character. But don’t think that playing this game as a leveled character will not be interesting. You still need to find good loot, and the enemies will still be a challenge. You just won’t have to bang your head against the wall trying to come with a build and upgrade certain points in certain talents.
