Eyes are one of the important parts of our lives and body for which we have to be very careful and thankful at the same time. And with our increased use of technology and continuous interaction with the monitors have exposed our eyes to various dangerous rays due to which we are continuously damaging our eyes. 

As we all know there is not much awareness to local people about this there are some monitors which are safe for our eyes. We all should look for some best computer monitors for eyes. The main culprit is the blue color from the spectra, which penetrates deep into the retina, that is the most sensitive part of the eyes. 

This kind of exposure can damage light sensitive cells that are present within the retina. Moreover, this can lead to eye diseases such as macular degeneration, which sometimes lead to permanent vision loss. With the increase in use of gadgets from a very small age and goes up to adulthood with increase in use for six to nine hours per day on average, the colors and even the fonts we are continuously looking at on our digital screens can make our eyes vulnerable

Here are some different ways to reduce the strain on our eyes

Using sans-serif fonts 

We should stick to simple and easy text forms as they put less strain on our eyes and some fonts are Arial, Calibri etc. These modern and simple Sans-Serif fonts are good for our eyes.

Software to reduce eyes strains 

There are several softwares to reduce eye strains and the most popular is IRIS. We can us it to reduce strain on our eyes. With the help of IRIS, you will be able to reduce the blue light amount that the screen emits. It also controls the brightness.

Brightness settings 

When it comes to brightness there is some optimum brightness for our eyes and we should know how to get the optimum brightness to reduce strain on our eyes. So when we look at our screen with the white background and If it looks like a light source, your monitor is too bright. On the other hand, if it seems dull and gray, it may be too dark.

Adjusting color combinations 

It is also very important to pay attention to the computer screen color combinations to use for daily purposes and the best color combination to use is black text on a white background because this color contrast is very suitable to reduce strains on our eyes.

Appropriate lighting

Appropriate lighting does not refer to bright lighting; it simply means a balanced lighting in the room where we are working on our screen so that we don’t need to increase brightness or decrease it because it can cause eyesight problems.

Safe distance and posture 

When it comes to working on screen for a long time then we need to have a proper desk to have safe distance from the screen and we need to have a proper posture while working with screens because they can cause multiple other disorders. We have learnt that everything in the world has its pros and cons we just need to figure out the best way to avail all its pros with minimum side effects to deal with.
