CoCaBee by Amanda Lavery: The Organic Approach towards Makeup

Makeup is a staple product in most women’s lives. From foundation to mascara and lipstick, most women use these products and more on a daily basis and have been using them since a young age. However, with new trends developing and a more widespread selection of products, one must consider adding organic makeup tothe daily routine.

The market for quality self-care products has been on the boom recently. But in orderto meet the increasing demand for makeup, many makeup brands have started mixing and matching unsafe chemicals during product manufacturing. Because of this, many people are switching to non-toxic brands. Natural makeup had come a long way since the days when DIY lip balm and black charcoal mascara was conjured up. As a result, one can get the same performancefrom safer and cleaner ingredients-manufactured makeup products as any high-end makeup brand.

Organic makeup is all about the latest innovations in natural chemistry with plants and botanicals that nourish skin and enhance beauty. But with the explosion of clean beauty in an unregulated industry, people now have many makeup brands calling themselves organic. Then there area handful of brands that are actually 100% natural, clean, and non-toxic.

As the market continues to become oversaturated with an array of different products, setting your products apart from the competition is more crucial now than ever. For CoCaBee by Amanda Lavery, it was a challenge she was ready to take on. Lavery, a Canadian model and entrepreneur, founded CoCaBee in 2014, intending to change how people think about skincare products. Born on October 12, 1981, in London, Ontario, she started her modeling career at the age of sixteen. She increased her social skills and network by meeting different fashion experts during her career.

Lavery used her vast social network to promote and market the products and services of different businesses. As an influencer and professional model, she assists her clientele in marketing their products.

CoCaBee is invested in creating and launching makeup products made from organic ingredients after running them through advanced and extensive testing procedures. The product that quickly expanded to be the bread and butter of Lavery’s company is an organic lip balm made from natural, paraben-free, and anti-bacterial formulas. Introducing a hundred percent plant-based lip balm into the market is just one of the first steps CoCaBee has become a powerhouse in body care.

As CoCaBee began to take off, Lavery’s started to ace the manufacturing of other products of the company as well. While initially focusing on manufacturing an organic lip balm only, CoCaBee’s inventory started blossoming.

Lavery’s aim to invent products for all age groups paid off when the company’s product line expanded to waterproof lipsticks, hand creams, foundations, and lip masks. The packaging which she uses for her products is also strictly kept eco-friendly. Unfortunately, the competition for small businesses has never been fiercer than it is today. While the ideals and foundation for CoCaBee remain the same, Lavery continues to find different methods in order to improve her goal of expanding the eco-friendly market.

Centered in Ontario, Canada, CoCaBee has made significant progress since its humble beginning. CoCaBee’s quality is just an example of Lavery’s dedication to her unique craft. Given the status of the world right now, Lavery’s drive to see CoCaBee succeed is prevalent as her sales continue to grow. By not allowing anything to come her way, she is spreading the word about organic skin care worldwide by demonstrating that the purity of organic things truly knows no boundaries.

Lavery has been featured in various renowned editorial magazines including Grazia, Glam Week, Elle, and Ocean Drive. In an interview, she said, “Being a woman entrepreneur in today’s society, is very important. We need to account for improved economic growth and stability within our own country. As a women entrepreneur, I, too, want to help and inspire other women to start businesses. Women entrepreneurs are expanding and leading to more job creation which ultimately helps in reducing the gender gap in the workplace that we are at today.”
