Gaines was raised in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania by parents who were music lovers themselves. He Began his musical journey quite early by playing guitar in local cover combos. It was only after graduating high school that he landed his first record deal and released his debut album that became the first breakthrough in his musical career. Some of his later works including somewhat slightly dazed (1994) and Galore (1998) went on to become popular as well and helped him gain more audience.

Jeffrey Gaines has a quite successful solo career with 8 albums that he has released internationally since 1992, which was the year he released his debut album. This debut album came with a single “Hero in Me” that went on to become extremely popular among listeners and gained him considerable recognition. Gaines was declared as “the voice of the generation” by Rolling stone. He was also called one of the finest singers in the world by the Boston Globe giving credit to his soulful vocals.

As far as touring goes, Jeffrey has toured many popular theatres all across the world and has been known to give powerful and captivating performances every time that engages his audience in all the best ways possible. Gaines was named Pollstar’s best solo artist and was invited as a special guest on many tours by some popular artists like Tracy Chapman and Sheryl crow.

Gaines has an experience of a quarter of century in performing and making music which has also given his audience many great pieces of music to enjoy.
