Build Custom PC Step-By-Step Guide

Assemble Custom Gaming PC Guide:

Do you want to build a custom PC for getting your work done? It will not be an easy thing to do as you may assume because you will need to pay attention to numerous factors. The overall process of building a custom PC can be overwhelming. That’s why we thought of sharing a step by step guide, which you can follow PC Zusammenstellen yourself.

Prepare your motherboard

The very first step of building a custom PC is to prepare the motherboard. You should assemble all components on the motherboard before you place that inside the casing. This will help you to get the job done conveniently. You will need to find a flat surface and then keep the motherboard on top of it. However, it is better if you can refrain from keeping a carpet under the motherboard as it can build up static electricity to damage components. The best thing is to keep the motherboard on a laminate floor or hardwood floor.

Install the CPU

You can open the CPU latch and proceed with the installation of the CPU. You will need to be careful at the time of installing the CPU. You should carefully insert the processor to matching indicators and notches that you can see in the motherboard. Make sure that you don’t apply any force to the processor. It should flush gently into the slots. Then you can close the latch on your motherboard.

Installing RAM

You should also be careful when installing RAM as it is another sensitive component. You should never touch the contact pins of RAM while you install. At the time of installing RAM, you can unclip RAM locks within the motherboard slots. Then you can match the module notches of RAM along with what you can see in the motherboard slots. You can then place the RAM carefully while applying some light force throughout the stick.

Installing the M.2 SSD

If you are planning to use an M.2 SSD storage device, you will need to proceed with the installation of it before assembling the motherboard inside the casing. There are M.2 slots in the motherboard. You can refer to the user manual of your motherboard and figure out what they are. There are protective thermal guards on top of the M.2 slots. You should remove them and place the M.2 SSD. Then you can apply some light force and you will be able to get the SSD to slide in.

Get the casing ready

Now you are done with getting your motherboard ready. Hence, you should take a look at the casing. You can remove the screws of the computer casing and get it ready. Since there are dozens of holes within your casing to fit the standoffs of your motherboard, it is better to refer to the user manual of the casing while you go through the assembly process.

Install the power supply unit

Before you place the motherboard inside the casing, you should install the power supply unit. This will be an easy thing to do. Even the user manual of the casing will provide specific details on what you should do. You will need to unscrew the mounting bracket of the power supply. Then you can position the power supply unit and complete the installation. If you are planning to place the casing on a desk or hardwood flooring, you should align the PSU fan downward. But if you are going to place the casing on carpet flooring, you should aim the fan upward. Then you will be able to provide effective ventilation to the parts inside your casing.

Assemble the motherboard

You can now assemble the motherboard. You should not screw in the motherboard right away. You will need to look for the placeholders of the casing that aligns with the input and output ports of the motherboard. Then you will need to assemble the motherboard accordingly so that you can easily access the ports. You will need to secure the motherboard to the standoffs with the help of screws.

Connect SSD or SATA hard drive

The next step would be to connect your SSDs or SATA hard drives. There is a designated bay in the motherboard, which you can use to hold the hard drives. There are two metal clasps, which will help you to pull the bay. Then you should place the hard drive and push that into the slot. After that, you will need to locate the SATA slot on your motherboard and connect the hard drives with the motherboard. You will also need to plug the other side of the cable into the PSU

Connect PSU with the motherboard

You can now proceed with plugging in all cables to the motherboard. This process can be complex, and you should keep patience as you go through it. It is better if you can stick to the user manual of your motherboard and follow the directions. That’s because there are numerous cables, and you will have to connect them to the right slots. By adhering to the steps shared in the motherboard user manual, you will be able to complete the process. Once you are done, make sure that the motherboard is connected to SATA drives, fans, and the cooling system. While you do this, you should stick to the best practices of cable management as well.

Install the graphics card

If you want to install an external graphics card, you can proceed to do it as well. This is a straightforward process. You just need to locate an appropriate vacant expansion slot in your motherboard and install the graphics card, similar to how you installed RAM.

What factors need to be considered when configuring your PC?

PC configurator enables a user-defined PC builder. There are many PC Konfigurator on the market that users can use to customize their PC. But how can one choose the best among them? The following are the factors to consider when building your PC:

Processor

Many systems with multiple types of processors are available in the market. However, when configuring your system, you need to focus on the processor details. For example, if you customize your system for gaming pc purposes, it must have an appropriate processor. However, you also need to focus on your budget to be able to work pretty well with the configuration process. For the purpose of the game, your processor must be strong enough to carry heavy loads at times.

Motherboard

It’s the motherboard of your computer. If you examine the internal part of a computer, you will see the motherboard as large silicon. All the other components of your computer are plugged into this circuit board. Choosing the best motherboard to use to assemble a PC is a difficult choice. It’s like a highway where they communicate and work together. However, they come in different sizes and configurations, and each look slightly different, but they all perform the same function.

R.A.M

A system’s RAM determines the processing speed. If you have a system that is low on RAM, chances are it will stop working or eventually crash when you try to run a heavy application on it. For the best results in system configuration, your system’s RAM must match the system’s requirements.

System memory is another important factor to consider when configuring the system. There are people who keep complaining about the poor quality of their system’s work without knowing that it is low on disk space. Therefore, in order for your system to work efficiently, it is important to consider storage.

Graphic

Graphics play an important role when configuring your system for games or graphics. There are systems that allow additional graphics cards. This is the icing on the cake for systems in dire need of an upgrade. For amazing picture and video quality, you need an amazing graphics card for your system.

These are all the basic steps that you should be following in order to build a custom PC. Once you are done with these steps, you can connect your peripheral devices and monitor. Then you can turn on the PC and proceed with the installation of the operating system.
