Better late than never! Arend Richard launches ‘Finding Home’, the sequel to his successful book ‘Being Found’

Arend Richard is the co-founder and visionary director of WeedTube, the most prominent social media forum for cannabis, and a proud member of the LGBTQ community. He started his journey in the cannabis industry as a content creator on YouTube, which grew to over 195k subscribers until he got removed from the platform in the year 2018. Along with him, numerous other content creators also got deleted. This was a turning point for him. Hence, he decided o come up with a new platform called WeedTube.com that allowed creators to upload their content related to cannabis.

WeedTube, which was launched in 2018, has over 5.9 million individual users, making it the most extensive social media platform in the cannabis industry. According to Arend Richard, the goal is to make WeedTube the number 1 reference for Cannabis Online. WeedTube has also helped thousands of influencers and content creators get back on their feet after getting removed from other social media platforms because of their content.

Almost 50 percent of WeedTube’s audience identifies as associates of the LGBTQ+ community, including Director Arend Richard, who was previously known as ‘The Gay Stoner’. The platform promotes equality and safety for the LGBTQ community all around the globe. Moreover, WeedTube aims to educate people that it is alright to love anyone you want. Every human being has the right to live freely according to their will and have the liberty to fulfill their passions. And the best part is that WeedTube welcomes everyone regardless of their social class, ethnicities, or beliefs and teaches them to be proud of themselves and believe that they are enough.

WeedTube’s other social initiatives include an annual Pride Month fundraiser, while the Canna4Climate promotes environmental betterment in the cannabis industry. It is all about converting the concept of stoners and building a better image of them in society.

Besides being a dynamic entrepreneur, Arend Richard has also authored ‘Being Found’, a Sci-Fi book about the journey of a young guy, Cameron, with exceptional capabilities. Life takes a sudden turn when a strange man called Nick, from another planet, shows up and makes his life chaotic. Later they set out on a mission to save the Earth from demolition by an insect race of conscious beings battling a war that exceeds the physical extent.

Arend decided to write this book because he wanted to portray a gay character instead of telling the story of a straight character. Even though the publisher Arend was working with at the time advised him to stick to a straight protagonist, he wanted to create something for a 14-year-old Arend who would look for books with gay characters.

After the success of his first book, which was launched in November 2020, Arend has recently published the sequel titled ‘Finding Home’. In the second book of the trilogy, the story shows Cameron continuing his journey alongside the purple-eyed Nick – the strange man from another planet – in the quest to save the Earth from destruction. They ought to convince the Ruler of Lyondra, the home planet to the most technologically developed human race in the Cosmos, to help win the war against an insect alien race planning to conquer the Earth.

And for that, they must travel to a different galaxy, millions of light-years away from the Milky Way. Moreover, they also have to figure out the complexness of their cross-species romantic entanglement that has eventually developed. As they reach Lyondra, they find out that it may not be what they expected, and their task may now require them to save more than just one planet.

It sure sounds intriguing, and if you want to know how the story unfolds from there, you will have to purchase a copy of ‘Finding Home’.

As far as the response is concerned, since its launch in February 2022, the sequel to ‘Being Found’ has been getting positive reviews, applauding the author for a genuine depiction of characters as well as its unique and engaging storyline. In fact, the reviews clearly show that readers cannot wait for the third part of this Sci-Fi book because many shared that the second book was even better than the first one.

For those who are not avid readers and are more interested in listening to their stories, Arend Richard has made it easier for people who want to keep up with the story. There is an audible version of both the books available on the website: beingfoundbook.com. So, go ahead and give the sequel a read or listen to it and get blown away by Arend’s innovative story.
