Best Mini ITX Case

Searching for Best Mini ITX Case?

There are many factors to consider when choosing a Mini-ITX case. With the excellent Mini ITX case, you can pack everything you need for your computer in a version no more than a video game console. Processors and graphics cards have been improving, and now you can find many powerful components that can run well in the narrowest space of the Mini ITX chassis.

These compact computers constitute an excellent media centre device because you can enjoy all the flexibility of a full desktop operating system and the power of a gaming PC without having to install a large PC next to the TV. Space will be reduced because you will not have space for multiple graphics cards or SSD batteries.

These builds can be a bit tricky because you actually have to choose many components based on whether they are suitable for the system you are building. Therefore, if you are ready to start equipping a small PC, you should first choose a case. We have selected some really great options for you, so keep reading.

1. NZXT H200i

One of the amazing PC cases, the NZXT H210i is a popular one in the market. The unique feature of H210i is that its cooling performance doesn’t sound like a jet engine, which is difficult to achieve in a smaller case.

The case is equipped with an NZXT smart hub, and also includes two fans and RGB LED strips. The price of the H200i is about $130, which is the same as most mid-sized tower servers, but considering the performance, it’s worth it. The chassis has many features that can be found in high-end mid-sized towers, including excellent cable management and full-size tempered glass panels.

H200i has smart digital fan control functions and provides enough space to expand the additional light strips with built-in RGB lighting. The H200i has additional support for liquid cooling and large graphics cards. For users who want to make small but powerful gaming PCs, the H200i is the ideal solution.

PROS CONS
Cooling features A little over-priced
Integrated RGB LED Strip Larger than most ITX cases
Superior quality build

2. InWin A1

InWin is the best in the market in terms of innovative and out of the box design.  The latest A1 Mini-ITX case chassis has a sleek, compact design and a set of innovative features.

The A1 has a pre-installed, pre-wired 600W power supply, providing enough power for most ITX builds that use discrete graphics. At the top of the box is a built-in wireless Qi charger, which is one of the lovely modern styles that allow you to easily charge your phone.

One drawback is that A1 cannot support huge and powerful builds with large heat sinks and high amounts of storage. Although it can still be used as a base for a lot of decent builds.

PROS CONS
Compact Doesn’t support powerful builds
Integrated wireless Qi charger Storage issues
Built-in 600W PSU

3. Cooler Master Elite 110

Cooler Master’s Elite 110 is the best solution for those who want to build a simple, compact gaming system. Compared with other ITX options, it may not have all the exclusive features, but it is quite good in terms of performance.

The clever internal design and vertical GPU bracket make it very suitable for this small package. Elite 110 supports various graphics cards up to 8.3″ long, and even leaves enough space for a 120mm all-in-one liquid cooler. Unlike other small-size chassis, this graphics card supports most standard PSUs.

It may not have RGB lighting or glass panels, but it is a simple, effective, and affordable chassis. Cooler Master pays more attention to cooling and overall compatibility. It also supports a full ATX power supply, can accommodate a 120mm heat sink in the front, and can even include a larger GPU. If the protective cover you intend to use is not your primary installation accessory, a reliable manufacturer of protective covers will provide you with a reliable solution.

PROS CONS
Good airflow Cable mess
Supports large GPUs Lackluster design
Compact and lightweight

4. Phanteks Evolv Shift

Evolv Shift has a brushed aluminium front panel, a double-layer tempered glass panel and a slim design, making it easily one of the most stylish cases. Even though the footprint is only 6.7 inches x 18.5 inches x 10.8 inches, it is so spacious and convenient to build. Phanteks accomplishes this feat by reversing the motherboard and including a reversible GPU bracket that lets you install the graphics card vertically behind the motherboard.

Phanteks Evolv Shift may not be the first or smallest ITX case in the living room, but it is one of the best. The exquisite appearance combined with the well-designed interior makes it the perfect case to bring 4K PC games into your living room. And, if you want to take things a step further with custom liquid cooling, the larger Evolv Shift X can bring you more benefits.

PROS CONS
Slim design Only uses SFX power supplies
Superb water cooling
Vertical & horizontal orientation

5. SilverStone ML09B

SilverStone is compatible with PSU SFX, Mini-ITX motherboard, slim GPU and nothing else. This case is best suited for installing home servers and NAS, so you can install a PC almost anywhere in the house. As the ML09B is in an “ultra-small” case size, you cannot install a large gaming GPU or fit an Intel Core i9 processor for daily processing. There just isn’t enough room for a heat sink that can handle high-TDP CPUs. If you want to install a slightly more powerful device, the power supply will also lose the drive bay.

For home server and low power NAS setup, this is not a big problem.

PROS CONS
Compact case Restriction on PSU and CPU
Lightweight Low-profile GPU support
Vertical & horizontal orientation

6. Lian Li TU-150

For those who like to participate in LAN conferences via TU-150, Lian Li is a good solution. It is a small, compact shape with an integrated handle for easy transportation. There are also advanced designs using tempered glass side panels and high overall manufacturing quality.

The case supports larger GPUs and has some very good cable management functions. The only disadvantage is the price and cooling rack, the blower or AIO only has two 120mm points

PROS CONS
Sleek design A little costly
Supports large GPU Low cooling support
Cable management

7. SilverStone DS380B

Building your own NAS requires a large number of drive bays, and there are a few others. This is exactly what SilverStone provides with the DS380B. The chassis can accommodate a total of 12 drive brackets, including 8 3.5 or 2.5-inch hot-swappable drives and four 2.5-inch fixed drives. Depending on the purpose of the NAS you will be using, there are many options for installing the storage.

The front panel protector helps prevent dust and other harmful objects from entering the device, but also slightly chokes the unit and reduces airflow. Heat dissipation is a bit cumbersome, especially when considering three 120mm fan mounting points. It is also quite expensive.

PROS CONS
Enough space Expensive
Hot-swappable drive bays Poor cooling system
Aluminium design

8. Thermaltake Core V1

For a smaller cube-style box that can still pack a lot of hardware, the Thermaltake Core V1 has a lot to offer. At a very low price of just $ 45, the Core V1 provides a smaller footprint than Mini ITX “towers,” while offering enough space for a full-size graphics card, ATX power supply, and even water cooling.

A closed-circuit liquid cooler would fit easily, but a small custom circuit would be quite difficult. If you are looking for a little smaller on a similar budget, the 19.8-litre Cooler Master Elite 130 and 15.4-liter Elite 110 are great options. Its smaller size means it’s a bit more limited in terms of airflow and cable management, but the compensation may be worth it if you’re looking for a more modest footprint.

PROS CONS
Cost-effective
Compact

9. NCase M1 V6

Unlike most PC cases made by manufacturers, the NCase M1 V6 was crowdsourced using ideas of ardent small ultimate Mini ITX PC fans to create the ultimate case of their dreams. The result is a small chassis that surprisingly large enough to hold almost any sized graphics card, dual 240mm liquid-coolers, and more.

The NCase M1 v6 is insanely impressive when you consider its size. The M1’s versatility also comes with top-notch build quality too, with aluminium construction, tool-less panels, and sleek aesthetics. It’s also highly tuned for maximum cooling with its over 6,000 ventilation holes while a couple of well-placed dust filters will keep your PC components clean. That all said, the NCase M1 is pretty darn expensive at $210 and it’s only available in limited edition runs, but if you want the smallest case possible without making big compromises, this is as good as it gets.

PROS CONS
Sleek design Expensive
Dual 240mm liquid coolers

10. NZXT H1

The chassis comes with the modular power supply you need, as well as a simple AIO heatsink to ensure your CPU won’t undergo a cooling solution that doesn’t work in this situation. The small chassis still supports full-size graphics cards, and the integrated PCIe Riser card will allow you to install the graphics card vertically. This design provides separate channels for the CPU, GPU, and PSU to provide fresh air and help keep it cool. Its price can be high, but it brings many benefits.

PROS CONS
Supports cooling system Expensive
Full-size graphics card
