Learning songs on piano

Listening to music is fun. Learning how to play different kinds of music is exciting. However, learning the same music and listening to them on the piano isn’t only therapeutic to you but also rewarding to your fans,

Some songs just lift your spirits and make you feel rejuvenated. They have a way of making you more optimistic and committed to the sometimes enduring lessons.

They may be different songs, depending on every individual. But, they got specific characteristics that are hard not to notice.

Let’s find out:

  • Most of these songs communicate something special you can connect to and something meaningful to talk about.
  • They become the most significant source of motivation during and after your piano lessons. They motivate you further to develop the required skills needed to play them,
  • These are not only songs but a different exceptional way to express yourself. Beyond the limitation of words, they give you a chance to communicate better, and differently,

Generally, all these songs provide you with the perfect opportunity to express yourself freely and confidently. You, therefore, become more confident with the way you express yourself on the piano and communicate with other people.

And, they should be the songs that inspired you to learn the piano.

So, which songs are these that are so simple and effective to learn on the piano?

  • Chopsticks

This is the kind of song that every piano student would play even without those intensive lessons. It’s one song that even people who aren’t musicians know how to play quite well. It’s as simple as pressing the keyboard.

With chopstick, you play the meaning of the notes and note the notes themselves.

  • The alphabet song

The alphabet song, and the twinkle little star, are basically almost the same. The only difference is the number of notes in each of them.

It, therefore, means if you can learn one with so much ease, the other one shouldn’t give you any problem.

You might argue all these songs are kids’- which is quite true. However, they help you learn the basics and shape your musical journey.

  • Happy Birthday song

Who hasn’t sang this in their entire lifetime? I mean, almost everybody resonates well with this song and sings it almost every other time. It,s straightforward to learn and play on the piano. The fact that everyone can sing along as you play it on piano makes it even more exciting and fun to try out.

  • fur elise

Like the above-listed songs, it’s equally easy to learn. But more than that, you can always add more notes to make it sound better.

In conclusion;

Picking up any of the above songs for your piano lessons should be a piece of cake once you have mastered each of them. More importantly, keep practicing and doing refresher courses to perfect your skills.
