Beauty is Skin Deep

As women, we see pictures of Victoria’s Secret models and wonder why our bodies can’t look like them or why we can’t have their perfect skin. The real question is, why can’t we love ourselves the way we are?

With the progression of the world, society is redefining its beauty standards. There is an old saying: “Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.” This is, in fact, true. People should understand they don’t have to lose weight or try to change their skin color for others to like them. We should learn to accept our flaws and embrace them, even if it comes at the cost of loving that zit on our face. We are human, and this is how our body functions.

There are mixed perceptions about redheads, but few know that the struggle behind maintaining that red hair is not an easy one. The pigmented freckles, lighter skin tones, blonde eyebrows, and red hair are rare. This is why people should learn to love the way they are created.

The 21st century makes efforts to normalize every skin tone and hair color. Whether you are a brunette, a blonde, or a redhead, everyone should know they are created in the best way possible. After all, self-love is extremely important.

Many brands have developed a vast range of products suitable for every skin type. Being a redhead herself, Paula A. Pennypacker understood the complexity of all red-haired women across the world. And started a fashion line, called “Just for Redheads,” to empower them worldwide.

Paula understood the importance of finding the correct makeup product for oneself when she ran for mayor of Toledo, Ohio but failed. Later, when she saw herself on TV, she was stunned to see the harsh black mascara she was wearing at the time.

Motivated by the idea of developing a fashion line just for redheads, she decided to open JFR in 1993. That was when she put her political career on hold and teamed up with her husband, Duane Abbajay. The couple worked day and night to come up with the most amazing possible beauty products for red-haired women at affordable prices.

After more than 25 years, they gained the success and recognition that they wanted for their brand. JFR quickly grabbed the attention of a lot of its target audience. The company offers a diverse range of products from blushers, brow products, moisturizing skincare, hair extensions, shampoos, mascaras, and foundations to lip products. Of these, the company’s most-loved product is their mascara, which comes in four shades: ginger brown, a warm brown without any black; ginger auburn, a warm auburn shade; ginger red, a warm red/brown shade; and ginger cocoa, a slightly blonde/brown shade.

JFR is constantly proving its mettle by strengthening redheads all around the world. The company not only facilitates redheads with makeup products but also guides them on what the best fits would be for their skin type. Paula has expanded her business worldwide to empower redheads and make them understand that beauty is skin deep and no one can define it for them.

The company was built from scratch to break all stereotypes about beauty and perfection. The efforts Paula and her husband have put into the company have made it the top redhead beauty brand. Even the film industry is using their products on their redhead stars. Just for Redheads might be developed only for redheads, but the message it delivers is worth understanding for everyone.
