You need to follow a few of the steps to give the test. By opening the website, you need to Sign in with your login credentials. Next, you will be required to add your name in the top right-hand corner and select My Dashboard and then proceed on to the ‘Take CSM test’. As you complete the two-day (16 hour) CSM course, your instructor will create an account for you where you can give the CSM test. Through this, the students will be able to give tests online from anywhere in the world from the comfort of your home, work or any other place.
CSM test is based on Multiple choice questions. it consists of 50 Multiple choice questions. The students will be given 60 minutes to complete the test and the passing score for the test is 74%. During the test, you will not be able to pause it, but there is an option to bookmark the questions that you want to solve at the end.
After this entire process, you will receive an initial welcome email from Scrum Alliance that will contain the activation link for your account. You will be given 90 days to complete the CSM test for free, and you will also have 2 free attempts to pass the CSM exam. In case of failing the test twice or completing it after 90 days, you will be needing to pay $25 USD for the test attempt fee.
It is to be noted that if you have already passed the CSM test, you will not be given another chance to improve the score. The score of your test is only obtainable to you, or your instructor, none of the other participants will not be able to see how you performed on the CSM test.
