Joe Russo also appreciates the way Mark Greaney wrote the story. The level of detail that the writer included in the fictional portrayal is truly admirable. The director believed “Bourne” can be a character that truly aligns with today’s viewers and reflects what’s going on in the room.

He said we know the actor can visit different places, and it just looked good to us all to try to come up with a Chris role that did not resemble Captain America. Thus they decided to go with the “Lloyd Hansen” part, which is much different from Chris’s previous roles.

As communication was tough, everything turned out to be challenging. It took twice as long to communicate, and there were times when portions of the crew would go down because of a COVID exposure. However, in the end, we got this blockbuster, and all those challenges sound worthy enough now!
